This was an amazing experience. We rented a suite. It was very comfortable. The in-suite bathroom was very nice with shower and bathtub. The bed was very comfortable. Large screen tv in bedroom. The bedroom leads onto porch with comfortable chairs. There is also a sitting room between bedroom and bathroom. The salon is equipped with comfortable couch and chairs. Another large screen tv. There is also a nice dining table which was pleasantly set up to have a meal. There is a toilet and sink as you enter the apartment. Also a nice sized kitchen with dove, small fridge and double sink. Lots of cupboard space. There is also a table and benches for eating at. Everything was very clean, comfortable and inviting. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with a few friends. I heard no negative comments. Everyone was impressed. The meal was excellent and the service professional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had not planned to stay here but overbooking at my intended hotel left me with little choice. I should not have been worried. This is a lovely, clean hotel. The one thing it’s not is fancy. Some might find that off putting. I found that it was part of the charm. The staff was wonderful and accommodating and the food - both breakfast and supper - was abundant and tasty. This was a great experience. I only wish I could have stayed a few more days.

Les Orchidees hotel is an excellent base in Cotonou. The hotel is located very near the beach, and being near the main road, is convenient to shops and restaurants. Although compact, the room was very comfortable. The wifi and air conditioning both worked very well, and there are plenty of outlets near the bed to charge devices. It is worth noting that there is no elevator, but the staff are very happy to help carry luggage up and down the stairs if needed. The hotel has an excellent rooftop restaurant that seems to draw a loyal local crowd. The thing that really sets the hotel apart though is the staff. To a person, the staff are friendly and kind. They went out of their way to help me navigate Cotonou, and ensure that I had a wonderful stay. Thank you to all for making me feel like family.

Friendly staff checked us in. Dining outside in the seabreeze with was nice. The room was basic and airco available. Windows were equiped with mosquito net and the sanitary was clean although water pressure was low.

A nice cozy hotel in the posh area of Cotonou. The Obama Beach is 100 m away. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Wifi is good. Breakfast is adequate unless you are a big eater. Free airport transfer and staff speak excellent English. Has a swimming pool,bar and the big supermarket is only 2.5 km away. Overall it was a very pleasant 5 day stay in Cotonou. Good value for money.

The food and the ambience of this hotel makes you feel you are in a palace. The staff will treat you like a King and Queen. Your stay will be amazing trust me. If you are here in Cotonou, you must stay here once and experience royal treatment.

I love the extremely attentive and friendly staff. The free breakfast was omelettes cooked to order, croissants,fresh rolls, fresh fruit and juices’ coffee and tea. It was delivered to our room when we asked or sometimes we preferred the terrace dining area. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. We stayed for a week and would do it again.

C'est un nouvel endroit à Cotonou, dans un quartier résidentiel, intimiste, une dizaine de chambres seulement (il y a 2 suites aussi) avec deux piscines !! Situé très proche de la mer et à mêre pas 10 minutes de l'aéroport. Le petit déjeuner est compris; un rapport qualité-prix imbattable.
